About Me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing primarily in trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I work with individuals, adolescents, and families. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carlow University in Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Psychology from Walden University. In 2011, I received a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. From 2009 until 2017, I worked with individuals and groups on the Chemical Dependency unit of Loma Linda’s Behavioral Medicine Center. During that time I became credentialed by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC-II).

I have more recently made the transition to working full-time in private practice, and have developed a passion for incorporating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) into my work. In 2017, I completed a two-part training through EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), and in March 2022 became an EMDRIA-certified provider. Please visit EMDRIA.org to learn more about EMDR.
